A great signature
Golfers in search of sea spray and Provence will be spellbound by this stunning resort nestled in the Domaine de Frégate vineyardsand untamed hills of the Var coast between Saint Cyr-sur-Mer and Bandol.
It comes as quite a surprise that the site was designed in 1992 by the famous US architect Ronald Fream who is behind 100 course worldwide…Two of which are in Provence!
Just like the Pezula, its South African little brother considered one of the best golf courses in the world, the Frégate’s rolling lines run right down to the sea. A stunning backdrop with views of the ocean and the land of AOC de Bandol wines in the foreground as the sun beats down on them.
There are two golf courses on the Dolce Frégate site.
The Frégalon is a 9-hole designed especially for beginners to practise and try out any technique.
Experienced players find that the 18-hole Frégate calls on all their golfing skills with a few challenges to consider to ensure the best play. Be careful not to lose your focus given the awe-inspiring and beautiful views plunging into the calanques and Embiez and Bendor Islands…
The French Golf School chose this unique complex that adheres to its standards to design an original training programme based on the MRP Golf method©
You can count on a great blend of sporting challenges and hours of relaxaing at the Dolce Frégate. After your game you’re on course for the Brasserie des Restanques, the gourmet menu at the Mas des Vignes, the Bar de la Plazza and the Omnisens Spa…It’s time to celebrate the day’s score with a signature Frégate mojito, a fruity rosé with personality or a tasting session at the estate’s wine cellar…
Everything here is about wellbeing, awakening the senses, the flavour and colours of Provence.
